Morning light across a New England landscape with manicured plantings and stone path

A landscape is the part of a home most easily overlooked, and the part most easily ruined by neglect. The grass that doesn't get mowed becomes a meadow. The drainage that doesn't get cleared becomes a flooded basement. The hedge that goes a year without shaping becomes a shape that takes three years to recover.

Landscape Care covers everything outside the home, in two modes. The recurring side is run through scheduled Rounds — weekly mowing in season, edging, plantings, fertilization, drainage, hardscape cleaning, leaf management, and the smaller jobs that otherwise become someone else's problem in October. The project side is run through Procedures: hardscape designed and built from concept to completion, new bed installations, tree work, irrigation systems, outdoor lighting, retaining walls, fire pits, pergolas. The same Care Team runs both.

The work follows a calendar built into your Care Plan and adjusted each year based on what the property has done since the previous season. The Care Team keeps a full record in your Chart of what has been planted, pruned, treated, designed, and built, so the property's history is always visible and the next decision is always informed by the last one.

What we care for

Every part of the grounds, on one calendar.

Landscape Care covers the full set of outdoor systems most properties need attended to through the year, and the design and project work that brings new ideas into being.

Lawn & turf

Mowing, edging, fertilization, aeration, and overseeding, scheduled to the rhythm your lawn actually needs.

Plantings & beds

Pruning, mulching, dividing, weeding, and seasonal planting. Bed condition tracked across seasons in your Chart.

Trees & shrubs

Shaping, deadwood removal, health monitoring, and coordination with arborists when more specialized work is required.

Drainage & gutters

Spring and autumn clearing, downspout monitoring, and identification of grading or runoff issues before they become structural problems.

Hardscape design & build

Patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, pergolas, and outdoor kitchens. Designed in-house and built to last.

Bed & planting design

New bed installations, garden redesigns, native plantings, and the design work that turns a yard into a property.

Irrigation & lighting

Irrigation system installation and maintenance, low-voltage outdoor lighting design and installation.

Seasonal protocols

Awakening in spring, full grounds management in summer, winterization in autumn, and snow management in winter.

How it works

Three modes of care, one team.

Landscape Care happens in three modes. All three are written into your Care Plan, all three are performed by the same Care Team, and all three are documented in your Chart.

i.

Rounds

Scheduled visits from your Care Team. The recurring care your property needs, performed on a calendar built into your Care Plan and documented in your Chart after every visit.

ii.

Procedures

The larger pieces of work — installations, design-build projects, equipment replacements, full repaints. Scoped in a Care Proposal, performed by the same Care Team that runs your Rounds, and folded back into your Chart when complete.

iii.

The Evaluation

The deepening diagnostic baseline of your home. Drone imagery, thermal scans, equipment inventories, monitored systems, and the records that grow over time into a complete picture of your property.

Begin with a conversation about your grounds.

Intake is the first step. It is a single conversation about your property and what you want care to look like. From there, an Assessment, a Care Plan, and the first Round.
